Paolina + Michele // Illinois LGBTQ+ Rainy Adventure Session

HELLO!

In over a decade of shooting professionally, I’ve had lots of unique experiences - but this one might be my favorite! I had been longing for a shoot at this location for nearly two years, and Michele + Paolina were the perfect couple to bring my vision to life. We planned for the possibility of rain, but were gifted a torrential downpour that created a magical, misty haze within the canyon. The three of us slid barefoot in the mud together on the trails, and I shot about a third of this session from underneath a plastic poncho with rainwater and mascara dripping into my eyes. I think there are probably a lot of people who wouldn’t have enjoyed the sheer bonkersness of this hike, but these two cuties made it so incredibly fun. Scroll for some queer magic!
