Best of 2018

HEY THERE!

What a year, friends! I’m a big sappy mess as I sit here and try to summarize the whirlwind that was 2018. Numerically, it looked like 12 portrait shoots, 16 couples, 13 boudoir babes, 8 families, 34 incredible seniors, and 13 dreamy weddings. Emotionally, it looked like me literally weeping every week because I could not believe how lucky I was. (Physically, it looked like a lot of lower back pain.)

Seriously, this was the very best year. Befriending cute foxes, watching parents meet their baby, jetting off to Italy. Every single senior that rocked my whole world. Every couple that shared a smiley kiss or wedding vows or a slice of cake. Everyone that trekked through mud or snow or a forest with me or that brought me a cheeseburger to their shoot just to make my day a lil brighter. All of the sweet emails and messages and thank you notes. The gorgeous girls who were raw and vulnerable with me and lit up to see how lovely they looked. Just…the best.

I can’t quite wrap my mind around how this is my actual job, but I feel like I owe every single one of my clients for allowing me to turn this lil dream of mine into reality. I’ve made so many sweet friends this year and my heart is so full just thinking about you. Thank you so, so much to everyone who has supported me this year - whether you hired me or recommended me to a friend or just tagged along for the ride, I am so thrilled that you were here.
