HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I started my own Halloween tradition a few years ago when I began putting together a creative styled shoot to celebrate the season, and I think this may be my favorite installment yet! In past years, I’ve been inspired particularly by American Horror Story, but this year I drew more inspiration from my recent trip to Italy, the Met Gala, and some of my favorite artwork. I crafted Brooke’s crown myself, found the perfect velvet dress, and then went to Haven Salon + Spa where Jenae applied the finishing touches to Brooke’s hair + makeup. Finally we teamed up with Kingdom Animalia Exotic Animal Rescue to add some extra cute models to this Renaissance-y shoot! Kingdom Animalia is an incredible organization that specializes in aiding exotic animals who are in need of a new home, and I’d highly recommend supporting their mission! This shoot may look luxurious, but Brooke spent the duration of it sitting in the dirt holding on to raw chicken gizzards; one million thanks to her for totally rocking it!
