queer as hell, fat as fuck

Born + raised in Wisconsin, with a deep love for Stevie Nicks, the Loch Ness monster, and mid-afternoon naps. On any given day, you can find me: watching reality television with my partner, baby-talking to our two dogs, listening to podcasts, and/or eating breakfast sandwiches.

I dabble in all sorts of artistic mediums, but photography is my truest and longest love.

I’ve had a camera strapped to me since I was ten years old, but as I grew up (and stopped taking blurry shots of ceiling fans and frogs I’d caught) it became my passion. I love the way that photography can turn tiny in-between moments into something lasting and permanent and tangible. I love watching couples interact with each other in the most honest way, with wind-blown hair and smiley kisses. I love chasing after the best light and the most important memories. I love the way an image can make someone feel; beautiful, loved, empowered, strong. Maybe I’m romanticizing it, but photography has a pretty special place in my heart, and I adore sharing that with my clients.

LGBTQ+ centered, body + fat positive, inclusivity-minded.
I prioritize creating a validating, welcoming environment where my clients feel safe + comfortable.
Working towards equitable representation in all that I do.
Committed to making photography physically + financially accessible.

I acknowledge that the land I’m creating on here in Wisconsin is land that was stolen from the Potawatomi, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Mohican, Oneida, and Chippewa Nations. This unceded land was (and remains) cared for and stewarded by these nations and was taken by force as a product of white supremacy.
